Reading of your banns
Having your banns read is an exciting step in your wedding preparation!
As part of the legal preliminaries to marriage, most couples getting married in Church of England Churches have their Banns read at their local parish church as well as the church they are getting married in (if this is different). There are a few details you need to get right - such as the information you give to that church, and the dates your Banns are read - but don't worry, we'll help you along the way!
